Please feel welcome to navigate around my website and read more on how I can help you on your healing journey

I offer confidential counselling and psychotherapy sessions for men and women over the age of 18.

If you live nearby you can choose to see me in person. If you don’t live nearby I am qualified to offer online counselling in Australia and the UK. You can decide which method works for you: Skype Instant Messaging, Skype Video sessions or email counselling.

I imagine you have found me because you are grappling with a question or a problem that you would like some help with, something that you don’t feel you can solve alone.... or something... maybe you’re not quite sure... doesn’t feel right and you feel talking to a professional counsellor or psychotherapist may help. You may have been drawn to my website because you can see that I specialize in helping individuals heal from abuse.

Abuse that may have been physical, emotional, sexual and psychological. It could have been any combination.
Domestic abuse, bullying, childhood sexual abuse, neglect, religious abuse, ritual abuse and any other situation where someone takes away your power and control over your own life.

Lots of people believe they get abused because they think that there is something wrong with them. Like they caused it or they deserve it. I want to tell you that this is not true. No one deserves to be abused. There is nothing wrong with you. This is what the abuser wants you to feel to take the responsibility away from themselves.

Many problems in our lives can be the symptoms of abuse, the ways in which we learn to cope and repress our pain and anger. Unless you address the deeper problem of abuse these problems tend to persist.

Some of the symptoms of abuse and coping mechanisms can include anxiety, panic, depression, dissociation disorders, relationship difficulties, post-traumatic stress disorder, self harm, drug and alcohol dependency, gambling addiction and eating disorders. You may discover other behaviours that have arisen in your life as a way of coping with the abuse you experienced.

You might be confused and feeling very alone. I’d like to reassure you that it is possible to heal and to learn how to be happy. How do I know this? Because I’ve healed myself. I’ve walked the healing journey and this pathway has led me to learn the skills to help others on their healing journey.

How can I help? I don’t pretend to be an expert on you but I can walk side by side with you on your healing journey bringing with me my counselling and psychotherapy skills as others have done for me.

What I've learnt is the enormous sense of freedom and liberation that comes with healing. It is like ditching the straight jacket that had been restricting your movements, stopping you from fully living. Allowing you to find out piece by piece ‘Who am I?’ in this world.

These possibilities I offer you.

I know how important it is to have a counsellor or psychotherapist who is genuine, warm, offers a safe and confidential space in which to explore feelings, and who listen’s deeply and offers unconditional acceptance.

These things I offer you...
